Fourteen psychotic patients, 7 acute manic and 7 exacerbated patients were included in the study to evaluate the clinical effect of zuclopenthixol acetate in viscoleo. Each patient received 50-200mg. of the drug for the first injection. If necessary the injection could be repeated twice. At the end of the 7 days 78% of the patients had a moderate to marked effect of the treatment. One day after the injection, the reduction of mean total BPRS scores were not statistically significant, but two and three days after the injection, the reduction was statistically significant. Statistically significant the reductions of activation factor scores were seen one day after the injection whereas the anxiety/depression, anergia scores remained almost the same, and statistically significant reductions of delusions, activation and hostility and suspiciousness were seen two and three days after the injection.The frequency of side effects was in general low and most after the symptoms were of mild degree.
Psikotik hastaların tedavisinde zuklopentiksol asetat etkisinin değerlendirilmesi
Zuklopentiksol asetatın viskalo formunun klinik etkilerini değerlendirmek için yapılan çalışmada 7'si akut mani, 7'si alevlenme gösteren 14 hasta çalışmaya alınmıştır. Her hastaya ilk uygulamada 50-200 mg. ilaç verilmiştir. Gerekli görüldüğünde ikinci doz tekrar verilmiştir. 7 günün sonunda hastaların % 78'inde "orta" ile "belirgin" düzeyde tedavinin etkileri ortaya çıkmıştır. İlk uygulamadan sonra toplam KPDO'de istatistiksel anlamlılık saptanmadı, fakat enjeksiyondan 2 ve 3 gün sonra saptanan azalma istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bulundu. Bir gün sonrasında anksiyete, depresyon, anerji puanları aynı kalırken, aktivasyon faktör puanının istatistiksel olarak anlamlı azalması gözlenmiştir; enjeksiyon sonrası 2 ve 3 günde sanrılarda aktvvasyon, şüphecilik, düşmanlık puanlarında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı azalma bulunmuştur. Yan etkilerin sıklığı genel olarak düşüktür ve çok sıklıkla belirtiler hafif derecededir.
