Until recently many concepts about schizophrenia ethiopathogenesis have been talked about. But the im portance of the cerebral pathologies appearing during the adolescence period, was understood the need for exam ining the schizophrenia has com e to date. Recently schizophrenia is accepted as a neurodevelopm ental disease. According to this idea, a long time before the clinical sym ptom atology appears, a prim er cerebral damage or another pathologic period (like the deficiency in the neurogenesis, deficient neuronal m igration, the inadequation in the cellular or regional differentiation, the deficiency in the synaptic stabilization caused by horm ones or other reasons) initiates the schizophrenia. In this article, first of all we will explain the normal cerebral developm ent and we will point out the relationship betw een som e anom alies and schizophrenia and the studies on in the cerebral developm ent will be discussed.
Şizofreni etyolojisinde nörogelişimsel hipotez
Yakın zamana kadar şizofreni etyopatogenezinde çeşitli kavramlardan söz edilmiş, ancak genç erişkin dönemde ortaya çıkan se¬rebral patolojiler üzerinde durulmaya başlandıktan sonra, şizofreni nörobiyolojisine daha fazla eğilme gereği doğmuştur. Son zamanlarda şizofreninin bir nörogelişimsel hastalık olduğu düşüncesi daha kabul edilir olmuştur. Bu görüşe göre, henüz klinik semptomatoloji kendini göstermeden çok önceleri, hatta beyin gelişimi esnasındaki primer serebral hasar ya da başka bir pato¬lojik süreç (nörogenezizde aksama, hatalı nöronal migrasyon, hücresel ve bölgesel farklılaşmadaki yetersizlik, sinaptik eliminas¬yonda bozukluk, hormonal vb. nedenlerle sinaptik stabilizasyonda aksama gibi) şizofreni gelişimini başlatmaktadır.
