It's find out that clozapine is effective on treatm ent-resistant schizophrenia. It's reported that the efficacy of the drug is related w ith the dem ographic and clinical properties of the cases. In this study the goal is to point out the relation betw een the answ er to the clozapine in treatm ent-resistant schizophrenia and dem ographic and clinical param eters. The assessm ent w hich includes sexuality, m arriage, education, econom ic situation, age and duration of illnes. These param eters had not been effective to the treatm ent. It has been observed that the illness period and schizophrenia subtypes changed the clozapine efficacy.
Tedaviye dirençli şizofrenide klozapinin etkinliğinin demografik ve klinik özelliklerle ilişkisi
Klozapin tedaviye dirençli şizofrenide etkili bulunmuştur. İlacın etkinliğinin olguların demografik ve klinik özellikleriyle bağlantılı olduğu bildirilmektedir. Bu çalışmada, tedaviye dirençli şizofrenide klozapine yanıt ile demografik ve klinik değişkenler arasındaki ilişkinin gösterilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Cinsiyet, evlilik, eğitim, ekonomik durum, yaş ve hastalanma yaşma göre yapılan değerlendirmelerde, bu değişkenlerin tedaviye etkileri anlamlı bulunmamıştır. Hastalık süresi ve şizofreni alt tiplerinin ise klozapinin etkinliğini anlamlı düzeyde değiştirdiği görülmüştür.
