New antipsychotics differ from the old, classical antipsychotics by their mechanism of action and side effect profiles. Studies suggest that these drugs carry some advantages in the treatment of treatment-resistant schizophrenics and negative symptoms of schizophrenia. In this article, the new antipsychotics are reviewed with the aid of most recent literature.
Yeni antipsikotikler: bir gözden geçirme
Yeni antipsikotikler eski, klasik antipsikotik ilaçlarından etki mekanizmaları ve yan etki profilleriyle ayrılırlar. Araştırmalar bu ilaçların tedaviye dirençli şizofreninin negatif bulgularının tedavisinde bazı avantajlar taşıdığını göstermektedir.
